Take the 10 Minute Challenge

What can you find in 10 minutes? Looking for a simple way to get outside this summer and fall?

Take the 10-Minute Challenge.

Pick a nearby park or trail. Set a timer for 10 minutes. Start walking and see what you discover.

You don’t need a whole afternoon.  Just 10 minutes and a sense of adventure.

Make it work for you.

  • Choose a location that fits your day. It could be a trail, park, neighborhood, or green space.
  • Wear comfortable walking shoes.
  • Check the weather before you go.
  • Try it during your lunch break or before/after work.
  • Invite a friend, coworker, or family member.
  • Leave your phone in your pocket and give yourself 10 minutes to simply be outside.

What might 10 minutes give you?
A change of scenery
Sometimes stepping outside is enough to shift your perspective.

Movement & fresh air
A short walk gets you moving without requiring a workout.

Time in natural light
A simple reason to step away from your screen and into the day.

Connection
Bring a friend and turn 10 minutes into time together.

Space to reset
A few minutes away from the noise can give you room to breathe and refocus.

Something to look forward to
Your next 10-minute adventure might be just around the corner.

Most importantly, you don’t need to be an expert hiker to enjoy a small adventure right in your own neighborhood. Pick a well paved path or something more rugged if you feel comfortable.  Get outside and see what you can discover.

Your turn! Set your timer, get outside, and see something new! Then, come back and tell us: Where did your 10-minute adventure take you? Share your photo and tag Run Hard. Rest Well.
