Living with 4 brothers and all the realities that brings, my 3-year-old daughter, Anna, laid claim to a small but important joy in her life, the color pink!
I will never forget stepping into the backyard of a friend’s home one beautiful spring day with Anna by my side.
Right there, in full view, was a large, stunning redbud tree in full bloom.
Pink at its very best.
Anna gasped, grabbed my hand, stared in wonder, and then began to jump up and down.
“Mommy. Mommy!” she said with dancing eyes and a smile that knew no end.
“God. Made a tree. Just for me!”
This spring, with summer just around the corner, I hope and pray that God bedazzles you and takes your breath away.
That he stops you in your tracks – stunned by the majesty and splendor of something he made…just for you!
