Chord of Three

The buddy system is great when you’re seven. 
It’s even better when you’re 27 or 54. 
Commit to a day of prayer with a friend, your spouse or co-workers.

Enjoy the camaraderie of traveling together. 
Share a meal. 
But go your separate ways. 
Jesus often went away alone to be with his Father, but not always. 
Sometimes he took his friends. (Matthew 17:1, Mark 6:30-31 & Mark 14:32-35) 
Traveling into unfamiliar territory, at times, is best done in a small group. 

“…Jesus took with him Peter, James and John the brother of James, and led them up a high mountain by themselves.”
