A Face to Face Thank You

by Brenda Jank

We have 4 days this week, Thursday through Sunday, that often take us “off the beaten path.”
For some …

  • It is the launch into the mad dash toward Christmas.
  • It requires travel – and the unique joys and challenges this brings.
  • It is food, fun, fellowship, and a lot of dishes.
  • It might entail quiet. Maybe it is a good quiet. Maybe it is a lonely quiet.

What will it be for you this year?
What can it be?

To mine the treasures of this time of Thanksgiving, hit pause at some point this week.
Find a quiet corner. Grab a pen and notebook.
As yourself, “What grew me this year? What made me a better person?”
Make a list.
Then write God a thank you letter.
Look Him in the eye and thank Him directly.
Thank Him for the good work He did in you this year through it all – through the good, the bad, and the ugly.

Thanksgiving Blessings to you, my friends!
With love and prayers,
Brenda and the entire Run Hard. Rest Well. team

Do you LOVE journaling?
Add these questions.
What grew me this year? What made me better?
Stronger? Kinder? More compassionate? More giving?
More equipped to be about the Father’s business?

Upcoming Women’s Webinar – Sunday, November 27th – 7:00-7:45pm ET
Bring Back the Joy!
Between the hustle and bustle of the holidays, we can tend to feel overwhelmed and simply lose focus of what truly matters. Bring Back the Joy, speaks life into women who want more out of Christmas. Join us as we pause and reflect to position our hearts for this Advent season.

  1. Firstly – thanks for the journalling ideas. I am just developing this habit in my life so this guidance of questions is so helpful.

Secondly – are you happy for me to share the ‘Bring back the Joy’ to the 60 women on my BRAVE training mailing list as I am sure many will find this session incredibly valuable.

I can also add it to the CCI WW Facebook page if that is helpful to you.

    Kind Regards,

    Vicki
