Solitude for Mom

As a mom who loves her kids, the best way for me to love them and honor God’s call on my life is to periodically move away from the familiar demands of life and go away to a quiet place. He meets me there every time – restoring my equilibrium, rejuvenating my soul, and fortifying my faith for the journey before me.In Mark 6:31, Jesus extended a remarkable invitation to a group of his closest friends.

We are numbered among His companions and the invitation still stands today.
“Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest.”
